Compare the scope of help you need before comparing administration fees. These providers both describe ICHRA administration, but their public pages are not a substitute for two proposals covering the same workforce and services.
Start with the product you are buying
Take Command describes HRA administration, plan design and employee enrollment support. PeopleKeep describes digital HRA administration and publishes a starting ICHRA price. These are provider descriptions, not findings from hands-on testing or an independently measured service comparison.
Use the Take Command profile and PeopleKeep profile to orient the discussion. An employer should still ask which product, service package and contract each proposal describes. Do not assume that the presence of the same feature name means the same service depth.
Make the prices comparable
PeopleKeep's reviewed page lists starting ICHRA pricing of $25 per employee per month plus a $50 base fee, no charge for opted-out employees, and a three-seat minimum. Confirm administrator-seat charges and all other billing terms in the quote. The starting price is an input, not a complete annual cost estimate.
A current Take Command price was not independently established for this comparison. Request a written quote rather than treating an older price or a pricing link as a current commitment.
Give both companies the same eligible and expected participating counts, plan year, payroll system and required support. Separate base fees, billed population, minimums, implementation, integrations, employee guidance, payment services, broker compensation and renewal changes. Include the employer contribution separately from administration cost.
Ask both providers the same operational questions
- Who helps employees compare local coverage, check networks and complete enrollment?
- What happens after enrollment when an employee has a coverage or payment problem?
- Does our payroll connection exchange the fields we need, and who fixes exceptions?
- Which notices, documents and reporting services are included, and who owns review?
- What implementation tasks remain with the employer or broker?
- Can the quoted service be demonstrated and supported by relevant customer references?
Choose on documented requirements
If price visibility is your first concern, PeopleKeep offers a public starting point to investigate. If enrollment support is central, compare each provider's actual service commitments. Neither observation establishes an overall winner. A lower fee may cover less work; a broader package may include services the employer does not need.
Build an evaluation brief, take its worksheet to both providers, and record unresolved conditions before signing. Keep the current benefit arrangement in the comparison until employee impact, operating responsibilities and total cost have been examined.
Sources and evidence
Review dates are recorded for each source above. Company pages are useful for confirming how a product is described, but they do not prove service quality or customer results.
