How the calculation works

Billable seats = the greater of your minimum seats or the selected population plus additional seats.

Monthly administration = the greater of your minimum total monthly fee or the base fee plus the per-person fee multiplied by billable seats.

Period administration total = monthly administration × months, plus setup and other fees for that period. Enter any separately quoted recurring compliance charge in the monthly base; avoid counting a charge twice.

This model assumes a stable population and fee schedule. It does not model tiered prices, proration, tax, discounts, internal HR work, insurance premiums or actual reimbursements. If the contract applies its minimum differently, obtain a comparable total from the provider before using the result. Calculations do not rank service quality.

The optional allowance ceiling is allowance × expected participants × months. It is shown separately and is not a reimbursement forecast or legal affordability determination. Build the broader employer budget.
