Privacy policy

Learn what information is processed when you browse the site, use its tools or submit a form, how that information is handled and how to send a privacy request.

Scope

This policy applies to ICHRAReport.com and direct communications with ICHRA Report. It does not govern third-party websites linked from our articles, including government agencies, providers, research publishers, or email services.

Information we may collect

Evaluation brief. Assessment answers and optional planning details are processed in your browser, are not sent to ICHRA Report, and are not saved by the tool after you leave. Printing or downloading creates a copy you control. Editorial contact and research forms are described below; no newsletter signup or benefits-sales request is active.

Technical and usage information. Hosting, security, content-delivery, and analytics services may process IP address, device and browser information, referring page, requested URL, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, and interaction events.

Information you submit. The editorial forms collect the fields described below. We currently have no public email inbox or attachment-upload service.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, page use, and referral sources. Google processes technical and usage information through the Google tag on public pages. We measure page views and fixed action names for tool completion, exports, print requests, source-link use and confirmed form receipt. Custom events do not include evaluation answers, quote amounts, workforce details, search text, messages or planning notes. Publisher pages have no Google tag; authorized publisher sign-in excludes subsequent visits on that site from this browser using a local preference.

Font delivery. Manrope and DM Sans font files are served from this website. Reading the site does not require a connection to Google Fonts.

How information may be used

When information may be shared

Information may be processed by hosting, security, analytics, email, and professional-service providers acting for the site operator. It may also be disclosed when required by law, to investigate abuse, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business reorganization. ICHRA Report does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Cookies and similar technologies

The static publication itself does not require a user account. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to measure visits and interactions. The Google tag loads on public pages of our production domain unless an analytics exclusion is enabled or your browser or privacy tools block it. The tag stays off on development and preview addresses and in browsers with our local analytics exclusion enabled. Publisher pages omit the tag. Hosting and security services may also use logs or similar technologies. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Retention

Technical logs are retained according to hosting and security settings. Editorial correspondence may be retained while needed to evaluate, document, defend, or correct published work. Requests may be retained to preserve an audit trail even after a page changes.

Your choices

You may block cookies through your browser, use browser privacy controls, avoid submitting optional information, or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on in a supported browser. Some records may be retained when required for security, legal, or editorial-integrity purposes.

Children

ICHRA Report is directed to employers, benefits professionals, researchers, and adults evaluating health-benefit information. It is not designed to collect personal information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated when data practices, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated for material revisions.

Use the contact form for privacy questions and reference your receipt when applicable.

Editorial submissions

The contact and research forms collect only the fields you choose to submit, along with a receipt ID, submission time and review status. A reply email is optional. Submissions are stored in a private editorial database accessible to the authorized publisher. They are not public and are not sold or routed to providers.

Do not submit sensitive personal, employee or health information. The system uses a salted, hourly IP-derived hash to limit abuse; the raw IP is not stored in the editorial database. Abuse-limit records expire after two hours and are cleaned up with subsequent submissions. Editorial intake records become eligible for automated deletion after 180 days and are removed during subsequent submission processing. The hosting service may maintain its own operational logs.

Submitting is permission for editorial review, not permission to publish an interview or identify a participant. For a correction or deletion request, use the contact form and include your receipt. The publication currently has no working public email address.
