Our take

SureCo is the clearest large-group specialist in this set of providers. Its public platform is built around enrollment at scale, HRIS synchronization, plan comparison, direct carrier payments, compliance, reporting, and collaboration with consultants.

What SureCo is trying to solve

Moving hundreds or thousands of employees into individual plans creates a different operating challenge than launching ICHRA for a small company. The employer has to coordinate high-volume enrollment, eligibility changes, payroll, carrier payments, reporting, employee support, and consultant oversight.

SureCo speaks directly to that environment. The company says most customers have at least 200 eligible employees and that it has onboarded organizations with more than 2,500 employees. Those are provider-published figures and should be tested against the buyer’s workforce and locations. source source

What stood out in our review

Employer size

An explicit large-group focus

SureCo does not try to look universal. Its public materials consistently target larger employers and consultant-led evaluations.

Operations

Direct carrier-payment support

Carrier payments, HRIS synchronization, eligibility changes, and reporting are visible parts of the public product story.

Enrollment

Tools designed for scale

The platform emphasizes provider lookup, plan filtering, net paycheck pricing, and support for large employee populations.

Who SureCo is most likely to fit

SureCo belongs on the shortlist for employers with roughly 200 or more eligible employees, especially when a consultant or broker is coordinating a complex, multi-location implementation.

A smaller company or an employer looking for a lightweight self-service product may find the model excessive. SureCo’s value proposition is operational scale, not simplicity at the lowest possible price.

How to read SureCo’s 2026 market report

SureCo’s 2026 State of ICHRA report combines surveys of employers, employees, and brokers with behavioral data from SureCo members. The report is sponsored by Oscar Health. source

That makes it useful directional research, particularly for large-group attitudes and enrollment behavior. It should not be treated as a neutral census of the entire ICHRA market. Readers should pay attention to the sample, respondent definitions, sponsor, and boundary between survey responses and SureCo customer data.

Pricing and savings claims

We did not locate a complete public price schedule. SureCo also publishes employer savings and case-study claims. A buyer should ask for the baseline, contribution assumptions, fee structure, employee premium distribution, implementation costs, and whether savings were projected or realized.

What we would ask in a SureCo demo

  • What employee minimums, implementation fees, and annual pricing apply?
  • How are direct carrier payments monitored, reconciled, and corrected?
  • Which HRIS and payroll connections are ready for our exact environment?
  • How are hundreds or thousands of plan decisions supported during enrollment?
  • What service model applies to HR, brokers, consultants, and employees?
  • How are savings and satisfaction metrics calculated and reviewed?
  • Can SureCo provide implementation references from a workforce similar to ours?

Our verdict

SureCo is a natural company to evaluate for a large-employer ICHRA rollout.

The large-group focus, enrollment tools, HRIS synchronization, direct carrier payments, and consultant model form a coherent enterprise story. The buyer should require proof that those operations have worked at comparable scale and complexity.
